Often healing occurs where antibiotics have healed or avoiding conventional medication altogether, which supresses the problem weakening the child and causing the problem to become more chronic. It is very rewarding to help children become well again.

As a colonic therapist some years ago, I became very curious in digestion. Poor digestive health can be inconvenient and sometimes very embarrassing.

Working on client’s gut issues makes perfect sense as, the root cause of so much disease comes from the gut, with 70% of the immune system found there. If there is an imbalance in the gut, the condition may keep reoccurring and be very difficult to resolve. “All disease begins in the gut”, Hippocrates declared over 2000 years ago.

All conditions found in the digestive system that I treat range from acute issues such as overindulgence, or a stomach bug right through to chronic conditions such as heartburn and ulcerative colitis.

Wounds can become chronic, and I’ve seen many people suffer needlessly in the conventional system resulting in poor quality of health.

I have always been fascinated about what’s under the skin. As a district nurse I tended thousands of wounds and ulcers and I’ve seen many people suffer needlessly in the conventional system resulting in poor quality of life. I have successfully treated minor cuts, and recurring boils right through to non-healing surgical wounds with homeopathy. The healed wounds can have a lot less scarring. It brings me such joy rejoice to see them heal with homeopathy and improved nutrition and lifestyle.

About Me

Hi, I’m Liz a classical Homeopath, Bowen therapist and registered nurse. All my adult life, I’ve worked with people and their health. The goal of lack of disease in the conventional system, as opposed to improving health didn’t sit right with me from early on.

While searching for a more natural approach I worked for a naturopath as a colonic therapist and a lymphatic drainage therapist. I was introduced to many modalities when visiting therapists put on weekend workshops.

Homeopathy is a transformational therapy, the king of complementary medicine, the key that unlocks the innate healing. It is a light touch or nudge as is bowen therapy. Rather than forcing the body, homeopathy gently and often subtly, goes so deep, taking us into places that we didn’t even know were possible to go.

When you qualify as a Homeopath, you realise how much more there is to know. I am constantly learning and I’m off to India for some post graduate training in August 2025.

When I’m not helping people to achieve better health I keep active ocean swimming, hiking, doing yoga. I’m a fan of food and good nutrition and find mediation and escaping to our sanctuary on the coast a perfect way to slow me down. Time in the garden and the bush is very grounding for me. Time spent with my family is gold!
